MALLARD GRANGE
OUR SUITABILITY TO ASSIST DISABLED GUESTS

A rambling 16th century farmhouse complete with winding staircase and creaking floorboards may sound delightful to some, however, we do appreciate that its very character poses accessibility problems for some guests who are elderly or those with permanent or temporary disabilities.

Guests with mobility impairment will find helpful the generous proportions of the ensuite, ground floor bedrooms. The grounds are well lit at night and there are no steps from the car parking area to the ground floor bedrooms.

There are two steps coming into the farmhouse dinning room and if these prove difficult, room service breakfast can be provided if needed.

Internal doorways are not wheelchair width and, therefore, transit and movement by wheelchair is difficult.

Guide dogs accompanying visually impaired guests are welcome in the ground floor ensuite bedrooms.
